Founded in 2005, by Sophie Austin, Teatro Vivo formally became a charity in 2012. Teatro Vivo converts everyday places into magical worlds, shining light on the forgotten history and spaces in the UK. By collaborating with participants within the location of their performance, Teatro Vivo strengthens a sense of community, enabling the learning of new skills, through all inclusive, and accessible means. A site-specific company, Teatro Vivo bring art into the everyday, making new connections and friendships within often divided communities through their high quality performances.
