We’re excited to launch the Counterpoints Creators Awards, a new initiative celebrating original digital storytelling at the intersection of art, social justice, and migration.

We invite UK-based creators to submit a vertical video of up to two minutes — a complete, self-authored digital work made specifically for social media platforms. Submissions must be standalone pieces, not trailers, teasers, or promotional content for another project, film, or campaign, and must include subtitles. We’re looking for work that explores themes of migration and social justice in creative, engaging, and unexpected ways.

This is an opportunity to experiment with short-form storytelling and to platform your work in front of thousands of viewers, both online and at a public screening in April. Your piece might be personal, political, poetic, cinematic, funny, or experimental. What matters most is that it speaks in your own voice and offers a thoughtful perspective.

Ten winners will be selected, with one application per person, and each winner will receive a £250 cash prize.

What We’re Looking For

  • Original, self-authored digital work
  • Vertical video (maximum 2 minutes)
  • A standalone piece, not promotional content for another project, film, or campaign
  • Work that explores migration and social justice in a creative and engaging way
  • Subtitles must be added
