We recently had the opportunity to see ‘Girl Rising’ and meet the Executive Producer, Kayce Freed Jennings. It’s an extraordinary film that uses a whole range of storytelling tactics to launch a truly innovative global campaign for girls’ education. Here’s how this mammoth project is described:

Girl Rising is a global action campaign for girls’ education, founded by award-winning journalists at The Documentary Group and Paul G. Allen’s Vulcan Productions, along with strategic partner, Intel Corporation. Centered by the new feature film, Girl Rising, Girl Rising uses the power of storytelling and the leverage of strategic partnerships to deliver a simple, critical truth: Educate Girls and you will Change the World.

We’re now talking to Kayce Freed Jennings and in the lead up to International Day of the Girl, 11 October, we wanted to connect you to some useful information she sent to us which you might use in your work. The first is Girl Rising’s school curriculum
