We are pleased to announce the publication of the Create/Counterpoints Arts Field notes 1V.

With contributions from participating artists and activists in conversation with alumni, this publication explores the evolving practices underpinning the School on Collaborative Practice and Social Change. It includes a reflection on the practical skill and process of writing funding applications, and the methodology of mobilising storytelling and dance as tools for racial and social justice.

The publication maps out an ecosystem of influence and solidarity for the growing alumni and networks that are a direct result of the Summer School.

This edition also reflects on the first five years of the School on Collaborative Practice and Social Change, imagining what it might look like and be in another five years – taking stock of the values and ethos of the school and why it matters as a space for collective imagining, co-creation and urgent revitalisation for artists, activists and visiting facilitators.

This publication looks forward to the next 5 years of the School with insights from artists and visiting facilitators.
