
Create and Counterpoints Arts are pleased to announce the participants in the 2023 Summer School on Collaborative Practice and Social Change.
From the interdisciplinary visual arts to music and Hip Hop, live performance, film, photography and dramaturgy, the 2023 participants bring to the School an urgent mix of collaborative and socially engaged practice, blending art with civic activism and community engagement.
In a world increasingly shaped by displacement and uncertainty, the Summer School on Collaborative Practice and Social Change is framed by global and translocal frameworks.
Visiting international facilitators in 2023 include: Ismael Einashe (investigative journalist), Abdullah alkafri (dramaturge) and Dana Olarescu(artist and designer in social practice).
The Summer School is taking place from: 12 – 17 June 2023, at Killary Lodge, Tullyconor, Leenaun, Co Galway.
