Sabrin Hasbun has won the inaugural £15k Footnote x Counterpoints Writing Prize for writers from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Counterpoints was delighted to be one of the organisations supporting a gig by Orchestra of Samples in Bristol last month, produced in collaboration with Bristol Refugee Festival and Lorraine Ayensu Refugee Arts, with connections made via our Platforma festival.

Five writers have been shortlisted for the inaugural Footnote x Counterpoints Writing Prize, for writers from refugee or migrant backgrounds.
